Thanks for your clarification, yes I do get people asking about other cars in threads that don't relate, but it's cool, it'll get cleared up one way or another

Dumb question but there is the clear protector over the bulbs....we take that off but the threaded bottom part of the connector....does that stay on or how the hell does that come off? I'm scared of breaking something.

Hi,

Please take out the plastic encasing on the bulb on both sides, it's ok to break the clear plastic cap if the rubber grommet can't fit through it. Thanks~

I have a question, Since our Scion xD's already come with a "housing" inside the headlight casing for low/high beam, how will that affect performance of the HID bi-xenon kit? Will I need to remove the casper shield that is on the light?

No...I have the bi-xenon HID's and you just install them as is...The bi-xenon HID's actually help the xD's a little with the light scatter situation...I have been running my 6K's for quite some time and have only been flashed by another vehicle (1) time...

So even with the built on light deflector in our headlight housing, you leave the shield on the HID bulb when it arrives?

shield? the plastic cap towards the botton of the bulb? or the casing the bulb comes in?

Thought they were $57 or something like that with the Valentine Special code? Either way, good choice...They are somewaht a pain in the **** to install, especially the drivers side one because you have no room for your hand...If I had to do it all over again I would have taken off the the front bumper...Mine has been off so many times now that it does not take me very long...I did remove my bumper to hide my ballasts though because the xD's engine bay does not leave you much room and I like the uncluttered look...Here are a few pics:

Drivers side held on by 3M double sided sticky tape-

Passenger side held on by 3M double sided sticky tape-
