Default brake job 2009 xd

Hey iam the new guy on the block and was hoping to get some info on brake jobs. Anything special about the brakes i should know? special tools, things to look out for? appreciate all the time. Is there a check list/sort of step by step sort of thing? i have done breaks on dodge truck,kia mercedes.

The xD brakes are as simple as can be. Front is standard caliper design and rear is standard drum design.

pretty sure it's just like most cars with disk brakes, just make sure you got the right tools

got you. found the manual stuff as well on the forum so will see what happens, I also notice in the mean time checking for brakes that it really does look easy. wow. got some dril /slot since i live on steep hills. appreciate.

hey since i have you guys here. i notice when ever i get on it up the hill by my house the transmission does this slam into gear sort of thing. It def not a seal problem. any take on this? i have allready found some stuff on the forum. It doesnt do it all the time but when it does it sounds pretty bad.
