Yeah, I was dropping a coworker off at the train station, with a train that was about to leave, never been in the parking lot before and the apron was a lot more steep than I thought, and the car dipped into the curb. Oh well, it'll get fixed.

...big run on sentence..that's what 1:55am does to me after working 43 hours in 5 days does. Hah

Little update posted by Richard TODAY over at yarisworld.com

POSTED BY RICHARD H. from Yarisworld.com:

Intake and Long Tube Header Update
Thanks for being patient, we hope to have photo of the yaris production intake this week. Fabrication is in full swing and there will be no sleep until it is done (hopefully 2-3 days). Long tube header is being done as we speak-first production version then fixture then production run. I will produce more than the numbers on the list for both products so there will be a few extras-hopefully the interest will increase and we can do a second production run which will likely be sold through Cali. Also testing Xd long-tube header tomorrow which might be of interest to TS owners. We are building a production version of Xd intake as well, but not until after Yaris intake is done. I will post dyno results of Xd header test.

Some bad news just posted by Richard H. over at yarisworld.com

Intake Update
Sorry it has been so long guys, but with the economy the way it is, the Yaris project took a backseat to other more profitable intake systems at Dynatek. I have done everything I can to convince the owner that the intake should be produced. We have finished the testing, already have the finished design ready for production but the cost of production versus the very small profit margin just isn't as appealing to the owner as the $5,000-$6,000 system we sell for the V8 guys. What I have done is to take this upon myself and pay for the production run to show the potential of this type niche market. I am going to get the intakes produced on my own dime. I am working with a couple of different fabrication shops to do the short production runs. I will post the completion date as soon as it is finalized. Again, sorry for the delay but the choice was between having and not having the intake available.

It's the same boat for many companies. Only the larger devs are still doing the smaller profit projects.

I'm still on the list for when it comes out.

^^^

True that.

Sadly is the way the economy is right now... Everyone gets hit one way or the other.

All companies are saving their cash reserves trying to sort the crisis....

This is a shame, but not unexpected with the current state of the economy! I am in if this gets rolling again... Anything we can do to help edge this along? Inquiries to Dynatek? Let me know!

I have been gone for a while and just read this whole thread. OMG.

I hope Mr Richard is finding a way to earn a living in these times we face.

I am definately down for a intake and really appreciate the R&D that has to be done to

make this happen. Add me on. It just warms my heart to think we *might*

have this as a option sometime soon. Richard, thank you for all your invested energy

and lets hope to make this happen for the XD too.
