Intake Manifold update!!!
you are right in that it IS a need... i mean, you can go to vegas and get a suite anytime, but come on, this a 'limited edition' intake manifold, only 10 are being made!
once in a liftime opportunity!
that might work, lol. offer to let her help you install it to, sometimes i can score a few brownie points with that offer.

The production pieces will be completed in palmdale, CA, so a trip to Vegas is not necessary. I have the test vehicle (08 Xd) and will only need a forum member to come by during dyno testing to officially verify the power gains prior to selling them to the members on the list.

Hey guys, finally got back onto the forum. I'm sorry to let you guys down like this. I'm out $5g because of what happened and 700 was the intake mani money
I'll continue to make adjustments to the list on post one to make sure everythings still organized though. Please let me know if theres anything else. Thanks

I'm putting a star just in case something falls through though.

Now behave like a good boyfriend...!
I just picked up the Xd from AEM (they used it for FIC work). We just ran testing on the long-tube header on the yaris and no I can run some tests witht he Xd (will have long-tube ready for testing shortly. We need to finish Yaris production intake before we can go onto Xd-but things are looking good and after seeing the results of the power gains from the long-tube header on ther yaris I have high hopes for the Xd. BTW-I just smoked a Civic coming home from Cali on the freway-his car was loud but not very fast. The Xd was all stock and managed to get 39.5 mpg during the trip from cali to vegas. I really like this car!
Hey for anyone wondering about the work Richard is doing on the Yaris, I can tell you he has achieved some excellent results!
Just so you have an idea he just achieved 123 whp on his NA 1.5L Yaris from a base run of 94 whp. That's a 29 whp gain or a 30% power increase. Just with Bolt ons!
For that result he used the Maniofold Intake, a prototype of the long tube header a throttle body from an xD and a set of under drive NST pulleys.
Also for anyone who doubt the NST pulleys to produce any power increases. Richard did a back to back test on the pulley set and they were good for 3whp all across the power band.
Remember this is just the 1.5L engine. According to Richard base line dyno test on both engines we have a good 25whp of advantage over the 1.5L
1.5L = 94 whp
1.8 = 119 whp
Here are the links for the dyno charts in case any one wants to look at them:

we hope to exceed 150 wheel hp with the long-tube header and intake combination. I am waiting for the turbing bends to fabricate the header and test it on the dyno-should be soon. I will be running the Xd at the track with the prototype intake, ex mods, CAI and Nitrous this weekend. If all goes well-I will post results.
