Thanks for posting this question. So my question to you is, when you buy the mic kit, does it piggy back into existing head unit cables? How the heck does it connect? I don't see where it would connect to the back of the head unit.
Any help or pics would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks for the reply - looks like I'll order the mic kit Monday and go for gold. Lastly, since the 08 has the old school ipod hook up, I need to order 86190-53040 and not PT546-00120-us to have USB/AUX ipod capability. Is that correct? Again - thanks for the help.

With the mic kit and the 28 to 20 + 8 conversion cable you don't need the Ipod cable because everything is wireless. I don't really know how that oldschool iPod is gonna work because the newer cars use a USB input. I put a link here somewhere to download the entire user manual. That came in really handy when I had everything installed and was setting up the system
