Default Battery Recomendation

I recently had a Alpine PDX-5 amp installed in my RS 1.0. The total RMS across all 5 channells is 600W. The installer suggested within at least a year I should swap out the factory battery for a dry cell like battery to handle amp.

There are allot of brands and models out there (e.g. Optima, Kinetik, Odyssey, Stinger, Powermaster, Batcap, etc.).

Does anyone have any suggestions on brands and models based upon my setup?

i think you should be fine with stock battery because we have a bigger alternator 120 amps... your system shouldn't put too much of a strain on your electrical...

if your really worried about the battery just get a small second battery for the car like a kinetik hc600 or something
