batteries?
nothing to be worried about at all. your alternator works to recharge your electrical system as you drive, so as long as you drive youre recharging. and if it was something as small as parking lights, those are barely enough to draw much current from your battery. over a length of time (such as over night) it might draw a tiny bit, but theyre no where near as power needy as even a standard low beam.
no worries!

must be a decent stock battery. ive driven many cars where the battery would go dead in a matter of hours from something like this, of course, they were a little older. i think some newer/more expensive cars have a feature that shuts power off automatically in order to reserve enough power to get the car started again if you left your lights or whatever on.
That's one of the missing features I wonder about. I can see not adding some features if they require extra buttons or controls in the car, which adds cost to assembly, but something like automatic-off lights is probably 5 lines of code in the microprocessor, they could have snuck that in there.
They have a device that cuts the power to prevent a dead battery. Had one on my truck and it worked. dont use it anymore because the underling problem was my electrical which i replaced
