Boo, sad.
You said your wife has a 97 240SX.... That model years chassis code is S14...
S13 (1989-1994 240SX):

S14 (1995-1998 240SX):

S15 (1999-2002 Silvia, which was never produced in the US):

BTW your wife has one of the most sought after incarnations of the 240... her front end was only on there for 2 model years before the new chassis was released. A 95-96 240sx has different headlights that your wifes 240

Woot! Got my car back. Drives fine but there are still some brake problems, like they grind when I turn right or if I turn my wheel all the way to the left. Already there are some pretty deep groves in the rotor. The shop however is very good so they are dealing with it.
So I got curious and took my wheel off. Groves are pretty bad already so that will need to be taken care of. I noticed when the wheel was off the ground, I grabbed the top and bottom of the tired and could move the wheel a bit. The rotor moved inside the pads.
I am so worried about my car in the parking lot at work. People go about 40 thru there and they would not be the kind of people to leave a note. I know, I was hit in my 97 Nissian Sentra. Hope you figure out the brake/wheel prob.
