I have the DIY filter in my car and I don't notice a change in flow at all. Only when it gets dirty do you notice anything changes

 

i also have the dyi in my car now... wonder if its actually working , but would definitely know when i replace it with my trdsparks one

 

Why not open up the glove box and take a peek at the filter? have you noticed there is less dust flying around in your car, or less dust on your dash after putting in the filter? I noticed those changes right away, and my breathing was a bit easier as well (it was allergy season then).

I gave up being careful lol. Though I find on a nice hot day it is easier to take out. However, its getting colder now (yay) so goodluck with that.

I bought my cabin air filter at AutoZone. It was a Bosch, and I didn't pay anywhere near $35 for it. I think it was less than $20 actually...I feel ripped off though since it is incredibly flimsy and the dust in my car hasn't improved much.
