Default Keyless entry audible

Hello,

Is there a way to turn off the audible "chirp" noise from the keyless entry. I do not like the "chirp chirp" noise everytime I lock/unlock the vehicle. I know it is a good feature that allows verification of locking the car, but there are times when I do not need to draw attention to myself. And I am usually close enough to the vehicle when I am using the keyless entry, that I can hear the faint clicking of the doors locking/unlocking.

Somebody had mentioned once that you can remove the "chirp" which is located under the dash somewhere I believe. When I asked the dealer the same question they stated "no". I'd love to turn it off myself can't stand it

I was at a window tint shop the other day to get an estimate for tinting. They also sell car audio equipment and alarm systems. I made the comment that I wished I could turn off the keyless entry chirp noise , they said it is something the dealer could do real easy. I called the dealer back, and told them this, and the service guy said "oh, that chirp sound, yes we can reprogram the system to turn the sound off".
I had it done today. No more chirping. No charge for the service.
