Would work like charm on those wheels.

If you want tires that would work great on the autocross but you can still use them daily...

1) Dunlop Direzza Star Spec
2) Falken Azenis RT-615

3T st 3 Steven Wasp Toyota ist Orange (TIMES)
^A? ^B? ^C?

Just wondering if you could explain what A, B and C numbers/letters mean in your results post?
also, How does the final placing work, its looks like some cars had faster times but placed lower?

Ex. The 5T Sti had a best time of 61.5 and the 4T GTI had a best of 62.6? so shouldnt the sti have gotten 4th or even third? I'm missing something. help.

a = first run b = second run c= third run

61.625 second was my best run so it is highlighted.when you have a +1etc thats the amount of pylons (cones) you knocked off its line. dnf means you went off course.
the total is your best time times by your car's pax time, its basically the handicap your car is given based on previous records of your cars model within the SCCA.
My time was .1 sec off of an STi, a car that has more then 2x my hp and 4wd to boot. The pax basically evens the playing field for driver skills instead of being purely based on your cars performance. As for the GTi i was almost a full second faster then him ;P

oh sorry 4 is the place (4th place) T means that participant placed for a trophy st is the class (street touring) 3 is my car number. Since this is Novice class, each individual class is grouped together instead of just that one class (ex. ST) Same goes for the Pro class.

the iSt is my own touch, when u register u type in ur car model and so on

Thanks
What I really need is some lighter/smaller wheels, my privats are killing my exit acceleration on the tight hairpins I also need to work on my throttle control, its hard to get the amount of throttle u want and need with the e-throttle

oo yea the e-throttle i forgot to mention that. that would delete your lagging. and check out the flywheel on drivetrain/power section. I think that helps on acceleration too.

places 39 out of 64 last weekend surprisingly on the Dunlop all seasons + steelies. From what I noticed, the wider wheels don't seem to use much of the extra tread im guessing from the light weight of the car. Turning also seemed a lil quicker and it accelerated a bit better. I'd recommend sticking with some thin wheels (stay under 7.5") if u wanna do good with the xD

I missed 1st place in H Stock by .050 secs to a 08 VW Rabbit

One thing bugged me a little when I watched the interior video.

Pro-tip: in any kind of racing, imagine a vertical line through the center of the steering wheel. Never cross that line with your hands. Your left hand should stay on the left side of the wheel, and your right hand on the right side. It makes better use of your arm and shoulder muscles, which leads to more refined control of the car, which leads to better handling -- which is already one of the xD's strengths and might improve your (already impressive) times.

It probably won't make a huge difference in Auto-X due to the relatively low speeds involved, but hey ... everything counts!
