Yeah... well, we got 5" of snow... then 30" of snow... and now 8-16 more inches coming. I didn't get any pics before I dug out, though. I am officially tired of snow. The tires on the xD suck ***** in the snow. I had no problem with the wife's civic, but the xD is hurtin'. I'd love a set of snows on steelies... but I don't have $650 to spend on that right now.

That's what we did for her's. The Blizzak's make it move like it has 4 wheel drive.

The hardest part is coming up with those steelies for the winter wheel set up.

xD take-offs are tough to find, and it makes it even tougher because of that goofy lug offset that only the xD seems to have. If it only had the same offset as the xB2, then it would easy and cheap because it seems all the dealerships have xB2 take-offs sitting around for sale.

I waited 6 months before I came across the first set of steelies I could afford.

It did pretty good as long as you kept up the momentum. I didn't try driving until the plow went down the street at least once, but it was still really deep.

I am glad my car isn't lowered. It would have torn the car to pieces.

We got 24" of snow! Believe me I am BEYOND thankful to have a garage to park in! lol I'm also thankful for a snow blower. Didn't help much when we got 8" of slush and the poor D couldn't get up the driveway. I'm thinking I should start saving up for Blizzaks (& rims to put them on) for next winter. I have to say, though, given the conditions of the roads lately the D has been handling very well.

Wow... those are some good pics. Thankfully, in OH, the snow is finally starting to melt. I sprayed off my car at a local car wash to get the first layer of salt off. Poor thing... really needs to be hand washed.

LOL that is awesome...

The snow around here is finally melting (only 2 weeks after the storm lol), and it's warm enough that the run off doesn't turn to ice at night. Awesome...
