I purchased one of these. It is a funtional armrest as compared to the IST which acts more as a center console. The cloth cover matches the interior very well.... Its a 5 minute install. It is not the most attractive design but it does the job.

I still prefer the IST console over this one. The texture on it matches the dash, but it isn't really that good looking. It'll definitely get the job done though. The "folding" is also a plus.

why wouldnt they go for a double cup holder for the back seats? I know there are ones one the door, but they are like SO LOW and deep that they are useless for my kids small drinks to be picked up and put back a few times. i dunno. That last pic is downright graphic. LOL

Yea... everyone that work around me were looking at me funny... LOL

It's the not best looking piece, but it's definitely functional.

I'd like to see some pictures of it installed in the car with the armrest UP...I'm thinking it may be designed so that in the up position, the padded piece matches the contours of the seat backs on either side of it... that would explain the odd shape of it, especially when it is lowered. It may actually look OK in the up position, making the seat backs appear more like a solid bench, perhaps??

I also have the Zeta armrest, and I love it too, it has a comfortable padded top and nice two-tier storage inside, and a dropdown cupholder in the rear so it can be moved out of the way when not in use,... my only gripe is that I wish it was about two inches higher, I have a very tall torso, so to really rest my elbow on it flat, I have to lean to the right quite a bit. Maybe I could make some kind of extra padded top to attach to it... The other thing that would be great is if Zeta made an internal metal support bracket for it, like the ist armrest has inside it, that mounts to the chair rails on either side to firm up the mounting some - the Zeta is only held in place by two screws into the bottom of the existing xD cup holder, so it does move side to side a little if you push on it (but only because the stock cupholder assembly underneath it moves). But, at least it is NOT so loose that it wobbles or shakes at all from any driving vibrations...

Thanks for the positive comments. Please post an image of the installed armrest.

just got the Scion Toyota armest in today. Easy install and looks great, but about 2" too tall for me.

Dang, maybe we should trade armrests, then!! Too bad it doesn't have storage like the Zeta, I use that a lot...

Yeah, I'm disappointed. It is great quality and the fit is almost perfect, but just too tall.

seeing as the xd armrest is same as yaris i also agree that it is too tall and gets in the way of my shifting. the ZETA armrest is complete opposite and gets the nod in my book.....

damn, should have gotten that one instead, maybe in the future I'll sell this one and get that one.

As tall as this one is, I"m just excited to have a space to put my arm on, but would love some storage space.
