Factory-matched paint. Just provide the paint name & number when you order.

temporarily locked.

OK cleaned up. Anyone with questions comments or concerns feel free to PM.

But really now, lets all stay professional and rational here. Nothing is life or death; The sponsors here take pride in their customer service and I believe that are not here to screw anybody over.

So what is the ultimate armrest for the xD?

I remember this argument some years back for my xB.

I ended up getting the JJ Products armrest because it was the only one that was truly height adjustable. Not easy to install, but configurable to your size.

http://www.jjproducts.net/jj_product...ion/index.html

I am asking for someone about 5'6" in height and small framed at about 105 lbs.

NO...... Not me !! My g/f !!!

Hey, no problems here. thanks for cleaning up the thread... after it started up a second time, I posted that on purpose, as you could tell. Sorry, I'm usually a gentle person, but...

And Toaster, we were discussing the Zeta armrest/console and the new xD armrest Scion just released, which is strictly an armrest. But neither is height adjustable, the scion armrest is a bit taller than the Zeta, a bit odd looking, has a fixed cup holder in the rear, and the top swings upright even with the seatbacks when you don't need it... The zeta has a nice padded top, two tiered storage inside, and a drop-down/fold-up cup holder in the rear. Then there is the JDM Ist center console, which is sturdy and has storage but no padded top as an armrest. You probably got those 3 as the best choices to pick from, depending which features you feel are most important... most of the other armrest/consoles I've seen for the xD were not nearly as nice as these three...

^^^^^^^^^^^

OK, Thanks for the nice reply, and sorry for the late return.

I have finally saw all three and plan on getting the factory one (PT925-52090) first, since it is right there, and if it does not fit the bill, then get the Zeta model second.

I'll report back with my opinions when I can try them out.

I've seen at the boomerang armrest before and it doesn't look like it has a lot of space in it to stow things.

I still highly recommend the iST armrest over all others that are out there.

I liked the iST the best too. But I didn't like the price. So I went with the factory one.

My opinion:
-It's the cheapest, but it isn't cheap looking or feeling.
-It installs securely and quickly.
-I like the fact that the finish matches the interior finish perfectly.
-It doesn't get rid of the little cubby hole or cup holder.
-And its not too tall for me or her. I'm a little over 6', and she is 5'6".
-The padding is there, but could be a little thicker.
-If anything, it could be a few inches longer. For when you relax and drive with your right arm.
-Plus, the box said it was made in America.

Bottom line:
Not bad for the price and better than nothing.

Check the above image for dimensions of the Zeta armrest. Use the leading edge of the console cup holder for reference. Hope this helps.

I kinda like the boomerang one. I don't know, just nothing looks right. I think I'm going to just try to make my own. Maybe fiberglass and some carbon fiber... we shall see.
