Ah my bad...I'm running 18x7.5 on the TRD's.

I had the front end aligned this week. Running 1.0 negative camber up front, but I'm about 1/2 higher than Pumpkin...no rubbing. I was told by the guy who did my alignment that you can get up to 3.0 negative camber but you will see bad tire wear.

So it all depends on what your preference is. My car is a daily commuter and I put 80 miles a day on it, so tire wear is important.

-3 camber doesnt cause that bad of tire wear... camber alone is not the culprit... its the combination of camber and toe... if you have camber and bad toe in / out you will see redicoulus camber wear... i have had -4.5 camber on my xb and getting about 8-9 thousand miles of of the tires... but its because the toe spec is as close to stock as we could get it... im not going to say that running camber doesnt wear your tires out faster... but not the extent that everyone thinks it will... if you think about it bmw have stock -3 camber and thats from the factory... so why would bmw knowingly make their cars have bad tire wear... ? they wouldnt... even the rear of the xd has -1.5 degrees of camber... just the toe is set int he rear so it wont be out of whack

Good info. I'm just going by what the alignment guy told me. 8-9 thousand miles? Wow...that isn't very good. I have 20 thousand on my Proxies and I have at least 10 thousand more. At almost $200 a tire I would expect at least 30 thousand...but it depends on the compound and how you drive.

yah could have gotten alot more.. i mean i didnt have to replace them at 9 thousand but i run a staggared wheel so i can rotate them unless i want to take them off the rim and have them re-mounted its alot easier if you are not running staggared wheels you can rotate them and get alot more life out of tires... but yah camber does increase wear but but toe is the killer
