Default Question....

When I look at a picture at any scion with stock hubcaps I can't see any bolts. Can the hubcaps be taken off and replaced by different ones? How well would 15" hubcaps fit on an xA or xB? Would they fit as well as the stock 14s or would they be too big and not fit as well?

I always believed that the stock hubby size was 15 inch.. If you find the correct mesaurement there shouldnt be a problem. Just take a screwdriver and pry off the orignal hubcaps and youll find the steel rims and lug nuts from there. Good luck

stock hub cap size are 15's. they just come right off and aren't bolted on. they have the wire rim on the inside that snaps right into the steel wheels. You can replace the hubcaps with any other 15" hubcap that doesn't require bolts to hold them on

those are some nice wheel covers, they seem pretty nice as long as they dont stick out the side of the wheel (front profile) too much

I started learning to use photoshop today and photoshopped my first picture of a blue xA with those wheels:
Looks pretty good if I do say so myself . But the question still stands, would these rims work on an xA because the stock rims seem to not use bolts to stay on?

What kind of crazy talk is THAT? They don't stay on by magic!

Go here, and look a few pictures down from the top.

You'll see stock steelies with no hubcaps on. They have 4 bolts, as most FWD vehicles do.

I'm thinking that the "bolts" you see on the picture of the hubcaps aren't really bolts they're just part of the design to make it look like they are actual rims. As long as they are 15" hubcaps/wheel covers they should work just fine. All they do is snap into the stock steel hubs.

Yeah. I've never seen hubcabs that stay on with bolts. Those bolts on that hubcap are just part of the design.

Almost every aftermarket hubcap has phoney lug nuts, falseys you might say. Rember, each spoke on a hubcap or wheel is more detail that needs to be cleaned or else brake dust will blacken it. Buy with maintenance in mind.

Only time I've ever seen bolt-on hubcaps is with the Bonneville style speed discs and early 90s Dodge Caravans. Some Olds Aleros had plastic lug caps that screwed on to the actual lug nuts too.

Our hubcaps are just pop-ons. I do them constantly at work. Most any 15" hubcap will fit just fine. Hawk is right too. Many aftermarket designs are made to look like the lugs are poking through. The funny thing would be to get a 5 lug cap and put it on the xA like you photoshopped. Of course, that would only be funny to us...

Do you know how hard it is to find a 15" hubcap with only 4 lugs?
All the ones I found either had 5 or none.
Now I'm thinking of beauty rings and center caps if they make a small cap that will work.

Just like the Punk said, if you like the 5 luggers, get 'em. Hell man, it's your car! I'm just saying that those in the know will find it funny. Maybe it will just be me though!

You could go all the way and get the spinner caps! Where the hell is Midlifescioncrisis when you need him??
