i recently painted my "hub caps" on my 06 XB

thought you all might like to see how it came out
i used a sparkle black/charcoal color and in the sun it really sparkles nice.

took one day, the scion emblem pops off, i cleaned them really well, scratched them up with sand paper. they were already scratched from using chains in the winter months, so painted looks much better than scratched. 2 coats.

Hey guys, just painted my rims on Saturday. Let them sit over night in my garage, and installed them on my car on Sunday. I left my car in the garage since. I'm in NY and it's been pouring here and supposed to keep raining. I'm curious, is it safe to go out yet? I have to drive someone somewheres later tonight but I don't want to mess up my rims because of the rain. It says in the guide that you need to wait at least a week for it to fully cure. Any suggestions or anything

anyone have any experience using the high temp engine enamel made by VHT? I know VHT makes lens paint also and havent heard any complaints about the quality of it. was just wondering if their high temp engine paints are similar in quality as their lens paint. I need to use the high temp engine paint on my wheels because I am in Phoenix and it was a cool 104 here today.......VHT also has a polyurethane wheel gloss clear coat I was thinking of using also.

thanks
