from what i have read before only the double din units have the wires for the steering wheel controls.

not really i have a friend that has the cd3100 and it worked with steering wheel control... and its single DIN

ah well, there goes that thread of explaination.
screw eclipse, SNS all the way, works with everything and has just as many options and looks cooler, IMO.
