I am going to be 44 in about 4 months most people say I dont look or act my age. I have a black 5 sp. xb with a AEM CAI, Tanabe Exhaust, Altezza Lamp Chrome Tail lights, JIC Upper Stressbar. My KG/MM Dr21 Sport Springs should arrive from Japan by mid Jan. I,m now looking for rims and tires. Who knows if my xb is in good enough shape my son could drive it next. 48, wife is 50.

I find it humerous that the upper range is 40+, survey must have been done by a youngster that thinks 40 is old..... Hell, at 48 I'm not even middle aged yet! I plan to live past 100, laugh if you like but my grandmother died at 97 and with modern technology 100+ should be a breeze....

As far as us "old folks" and modifications go- I've been hotroding everything I own for the past 35 years, even the family minivan is modified.

Default I am a Newbie!

Hello to you all. I am here on the East Coast where I work at a Dealership in Atlanta (Atlanta Toyota/Scion: shameless plug). I currently have a 2002 Celica GTS and looking forward to purchasing a new tC when they are released in June. Also, a quick question, if anyone knows and can help me with adding some pics of the Scions that we tricked out here at the dealership and if you know of any other Scion related websites, it would be greatly appreciated. Oh and btw, I am 23.

I think it has something to do with the fact that we sort of know the inside scoop on these scions and were the first to be told about them. That plus we were trained to learn about them, hence some of us have fallen in love with the vehicles.

Default Scoop

Ok here's MY take on the whole situation. Everyone is curious why no Gen Yers want the Scion, and there's one undisputable reason for that. What is it you ask? How about that puny lil 1.5L sittin in the engine bay? Yea sure it's cool, but no self-respecting 17-22 year old is really gonna spend 20k on a tricked out slow ___ box. I mean don't get me wrong I LOVE the Scion and I'm only 19, but Toyota screwed themselves by not putting a beefier motor in the car. Unfortunately, especially on the east coast, import tuning isn't about style, it's about speed, and here on the east coast where my dealership is, no one wants a 108hp box, they're all waiting for the tC to come out.
