For people having problems finding threads, go to your User CP, then go to Edit Options and change the Thread Age Cut Off.

Other than that, the navigation is the EXACT SAME.

Also, when you go to User CP, it only shows your subscribed threads that are active. If you want to see all of them, scroll down some and click "View all Subscribed Threads." Only takes a little common sense to figure this stuff out.

The My Posts feature works for me. It only brings back 500 topics but it does work.

When I initially log in, I see this:
Lil_Deuce_tCoupe, Welcome to the new Scionlife. Don't forget to check all your settings out in your User CP
Feedback, questions, comments are welcome HERE

When I click on either the User CP (to supposedly find 'my posts') or the HERE link, I am then logged out, and see this:

You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
 1.
You are not logged in. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and try again.
You may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
 2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Also, after login, clicking on the HOME icon in the upper left corner will also log me out, and give me the "UNREGISTERED" greeting. I'm sure it happens on other pages too, but I'm sick of trying to even negotiate around.

Problem 2. If I can get to the 'Subscribed Threads' in the User CP, which is supposed to be equivalent to "my posts" on the former site, there are only 3 there; I was subscribed to > 250 before the change.

I understand there may be some 'bugs' with a change like this, but come on. Very disappointed.

No, actually Fail, INC was the first new club I added from scratch in the new software and I missed one step when doing it. It wasn't until this morning that Adrian was able to point to the one extra step to make it all display.

Give us a chance, we are learning this new stuff, too.

When you select the dropdown for the xB forums, it doesn't bring up ANY of the 2nd gen forums. You have to backpedal to get to it or start at the forum homepage.

Tomas, i have another question, where can we see all of the members from a usergroup ex. Fail, inc? I remember old sl you went to your profile and you just clicked your usergroup to see all of the listed members. Where can we do that here?

I cleared out my cookies, reset my Safari, and I still get the following message whenever I try to post in any forum...

Maybe it's just me but this new site just just isnt working for me. The old site was so much easier and well thought out and easy to navigate. This new setu doesn't exactly provoke or encourage easy sifting through the site.

Just a letdown. No offense to the creators just gving honest feedback.

I liked how the "My Posts" kept track of all my posts that were made even after one week.. That's really my only qualm with the new layout.
Edit: Nevermind I see it's fixed now. Awesome!

They may be old messages, and you may really have read them on the old system, but the new system doesn't know that...

At the top right corner of the list, in the dark band just above the first item is a checkbox, click that one (it will cause all the ones on that page to be selected) and them go to the bottom and tell the system to mark them read.

Do the same on each page of incoming messages that you have and the new software will finally know that you've read all those messages.

Sorry that it might take a minute or two to do but that's just the way things happened during the move.

I dunno if its a temporary glitch or bug or what but on the xD forum main page its not showing the correct most recent post for the xD lounge. Instead its showing the most recent post for the aero & exterior. Just giving yall a heads up. I think it was doing that last night too. Is it because the other forums are nested within the xD lounge forum? The tC, xB forums dont seem to be doing it. Tho the xA does seem to have the same bug also...

Oh and I forgot to ask, is there an easy way to subscribe to a thread with out posting to it?

Edit - Never mind, I see the thread tools option in the bar at the top. Anyway to have that handy grey bar at the top and bottom of the screen? :D

How about getting rid of the 10000 characters per post limit?

I was told by one of the moderators that the old SL had no character per post limit.
