Scionlife Beta 2.0!
Adrian, Mike:
There is a default problem with the search engine here that seems to be typical of most search engines.
Searching for something that applies to one of the Scion models (as opposed to something that applys to "any" Scion model) fails because xA, xB, tC, and xD are only two characters, and the search engine discards any search item of less than three characters. (Search for xB windshield, for an example.)
I understand that allowing search for two character combinations can great massive loads on the search engine, but understand also that being unable to narow one's search to only one model ALSO creates problems.
If there at least some way to feed the search engine specific two character combos that it SHOULD NOT discard if entered in search?
If not, IB (another viable two character search item) needs to figure out how to make the Search work with this site's unique characteristics (I.E. having two character model IDs).

See above post and apply it to tags, also.
There are for some reason tags for the scion models, but if one attempts to enter a new tag not yet "known" by the system, it complains that a 2 character tag is too short.
*sigh*

I dunno if its a temporary glitch or bug or what but on the xD forum main page its not showing the correct most recent post for the xD lounge. Instead its showing the most recent post for the aero & exterior. Just giving yall a heads up. I think it was doing that last night too. Is it because the other forums are nested within the xD lounge forum? The tC, xB forums dont seem to be doing it. Tho the xA does seem to have the same bug also...

We will be adding the drop-down menu's shortly.

I was just trying to search about tC lugs since I'm putting stock tC rims on my xD but not even going to try to wade thru the posts with the word lugs only that were returned for anything about tC lugs...
maybe it's my computer or my connection, but it seems like when i try to open up a couple threads in tabs, all the windows come up blank from the title and down.. so i can see everything at the top of a page, but nothing under the little advertisement.. errr
Okay this is really silly, I can not use my name as my signature because I keep getting an eeror message :You have used a censored word. Please remove this word. My name is ___le jean and the error keepps taking out the ___ and leaving le
guess part of my name is a censored word Huh? Please fix this or tell me what I should do. and just in case changing my name isn't an option
I'm too old to have to remember a new name
Thanx by the way love the site!!!

Oh wow. That's pretty funny.
Gáyle, right?
The dropdowns don't really work well. They branch out to the subforums, but they vanish on mouseover.
Yep, the dropdowns only stick until you get past the black of the header.

There, that should straighten him up.
Lemme know if you still have a problem with that, Gayle.
(The stuff he already censored will still show up censored, but new stuff should work OK.)
Take care,
Tom

Same problem here, both in Firefox and IE8. Also they dont show up on the home page or any other section of the site, they only show after you get into the forums themselves.

Im using IE and noticed the drop down problem was a little better today..
Also, Im trying to post my vehicle to the Registry.. First of all, on the registry info page, it doesnt as for my color option (at all), Nor have the options been updated for the tC RS 4&5.... Last on the info page, the button to submit isnt a button but a unusable text box..
THANKS!!!
