Red cold cathodes in foot wells. Had some in engine bay but power washer look of weatherproofing, so ordering some waterproof leds strips from www.oznium.com The red light to the left of the steering wheel is a lighted rocker switch that i use to turn the lights on or off.

 

anyone have pics of how they hid the transformers under the rear seats of the xB? I just replaced my yellow cathodes for green ones tonight and still cant figure out how to hide all the wiring and transformers...

 

Easiest Cathode setup in the world is the one sold by Randode. I did this setup in about 30 minutes. It is neat, it is clean and you don't have to worry about wiring anything. It is all plug and play! I don't understand why folks fight this stuff when you don't have too in order to save a couple of bucks.

 

Hey so browsing through the site for the last 2hrs, trying to find this thread about changing the backlights in the dash, i just bought a 2011 xB on tuesday and im trying to fix it up so if any help that would be awesome!

 

It requires surface mount soldering..
There is small LED inside of the gauge cluster circuit board that you need to swap them out..

Also you need new gauge face that allow different color LED to light up properly.
stock gauge face has orange pigment that prevents other colors to pass through..
