I have never got pulled over myself for this...knock on wood, but I have heard that some cops are real sticklers on vehical codes, but as long as you are driving cool then they have no real reason to pull you over to get a good enough look at the headlights to write a ticked up for this! Just play it smart and be a good driver..lol

that looks perfect dude! what specific kind of paint did you use? coz i want to do it to mine too.. i like it gloss or jet black.

you could use any type of paint. what alot of people use is a plastic paint

the paint that I used was Tamaya plastic paint and I used the smoked color... hope that this help and best of luck on you mod.

Tamiya plastic paint, you can get it from towerhobbies.com as a last resort, or a local hobby shop.. (LHS)

i just did this to my rs 2.0, i love it! I didn't blacken the blinkers though. I feel it looks more clean, I'm not a fan of the faded orange when lit. (IMO) but i seriously think all xD headlights should be black instead of the stupid mirror finish, I'll upload pics asap

So do you just bake in regular oven? And you bake once the headlight lens is painted and again when put together?
