Does anyone know if it can be purchased from the dealership and installed in the 05?

Toyota says no. I'm sure someone will figure out a way eventually. If you really want an iPod in your 05, see this:

The ipod connector? No. The stock version? Yes, but it will cost you 600 bucks....

06 radio will not go in the 05

The stock '06 WILL go in an '05...it's been done and documented w/ pics in the ICE forum. However, the ipod version cannot.
