If I get the tC running in the next couple days I'll swing by before I make a trip to NH next week.

is zpi gonna chyme in and give their version? i've been a member here for a long time, even before zpi first pushed out a single turbo kit. it seems like it's been a real rollercoaster ride with them, ups and downs. in the beginning they were known to have shipping problems, but then it seemed that they got it taken care of and they pushed out kits on time. later on, the issue came up again. after that i've seen mixed reviews about zpi's customer service. dont get me wrong, their turbo kits perform great but it's their service that i hear negative things about. and someone stated that these type of threads are always biased..well maybe it's because i've yet to see zpi come in and post their side of the story. if it was a mistake on their part, they should at least own up to it instead of ignoring customers or giving them the runaround.

ZPI has been and will always be a trailblazer. Can't take that away from them. I have to give credit where credit is due.

HOWEVER

On my forum we have seen the same issues from ZPI. You cannot accept payments as large as they do and then become hard to reach. It makes your customers nervous and its bad business. I have refused to support them because of these issues, and its sad that the voices of the people that REALLY support the aftermarket [the CUSTOMERS!] have been silenced here at SL.

Companies are accountable for everything they do when so much of their business relies on a forum atmosphere. Its one of the downs that accompanies the many ups of doing business on a forum. Knowing that, why would a company leave themselves open for attack so often? Its f'n mind boggling.

I always see the Dezod bros., Todd and Dan here in this section helping out all the time. They show that they care and also help out people with other kits and their problems. I have never ever seen a post from ZPI or anyone from that company other than their customers. The customer is always right and to me if their customer service is not good at all I will take my business elsewhere. I don't care how good it performs. I don't even want to imagine if their turbo kit was having issues... ooohh boy.

How long have you been around SL? They use to post just as much as every other vendor here, but it was always something new every week. Would be good for a while, then a post get started, then they would chime in and give their side of the story, and ultimately turned out to not be what the OP had made it out to be. No implication to your thread Todd, as I don't know what you had working with them, and quite frankly, I got my own things on my mind right now. ZPI still has an account here, and they chime in ever so often (as recent as the Pipes TV thread).

But I will say though, that it's hard to tell what is going on, if you make a thread, and then leave people to fill in the blanks. You know the level of maturity we are dealing with here on SL. Leaving people to fill in the blanks, I can only imagine what the story will turn into a year from now....

If you have legality issues that are holding you back from it, then I don't know what to tell ya. Maybe just stating an experience without bashing should keep you from sounding like you are bashing, to promote your own product. What are the facts? What is the actual experience? I'm curious to know myself.

Facts being, what was ordered, when, stuff like that. Needing Kenny's approval, why were you not dealing with Kenny to begin with if this is a "Company helping/building relationship with Company" deal?

Did you not read what I wrote...."To Begin With"? Meaning 7 weeks Ago. Kenny don't just ignore people to ignore people. If this was an "Interpersonal" Company dealing, then shouldn't he have been dealing with Kenny from the beginning? At first it sounds like a regular customer transaction. Then when questioned why ordering parts from ZPI when you build your own, it was laid out to look like a Company-2-Company dealing. So, which is it?

I was wondering what was ordered as well.

Why do you need more detials? I already said more than I wanted too. I had allot of respect for that company until they decided to disrespect me.

All I did was deal with Kenny...until he was too busy to answer....phone calls, text messages, emails and messages that I left with the lady that answers the phone.

I gave them every chance and opportunity I could, I made this posts as a customer not another company trying to find a way to get up on my so called "competition".

I have allot to loose with them in starting these threads, more that this community will ever know. This community needs to evolve and its not going to get there any time soon with companies like them who honestly only care about one thing.....the money in there pocket.

Todd

No need to get ansy with me bro. I was just trying to see what the problem was. I've seen threads started like this, and two days later the dude gets his parts, and comes back and says all is good. I know nothing of your deals, so my guess is as good as anybody's on what fell through the cracks. We have your side of it, and not Kenny's yet. Don't know what reason he would ignore you as you said. Did he flat out tell you to F-off, or is it just that you couldn't get a hold of him?

Just was trying to help by gathering up the info, and seeing what Kenny had to say about it. But, hope everything is solved between you too.

wtf are you talking about? No body is fighting anything. I was not arguing if Todd got done wrong. If he got done wrong, then ZPI dropped the ball on this one. I was just trying to get more than just one side of the story. Prime reason why posting on SL has gone to the birds. Someone always trying to twist crap around.

I help where I can PERIOD dude, not just ZPI related stuff.

If there was a tone there Travis it was not intentional, so please don't take it personal.

I don't think we will here from Kenny on this one, he knows how I feel and so do the rest of the people I talked to there. Plus it could get ugly if we did, probably not in his best interests.

Unfortunate, but it happens. Which is the whole point, it shouldn't and I don't want it to happen to anyone else.

Todd and Joe are obviously steps ahead of Kenny in the customer satisfaction field!! I've never talked to Joe personally, but i've read some comments, and he's posted on a thread of my fiance's and i respect him trying to help with problems/issues that he doesn't have to, and just giving input to help others out.

I have personally talked to Todd, and bought a manifold from him. He is ALWAYS quick to email me back, and answer ANY questions i have. I have asked questions about Jeff's car (318-tc) and Todd gets right back to me!

I have experience with ZPI as well... I'm still waiting on parts that i bought in April, and they have THOUSANDS of dollars of my money and i can"t seem to get a hold of Kenny!

i'm not going to go into a ZPI bash.. its a waste of time. but i will say that customer relations/service is a HUGE part of keeping a business alive!!!!!!!!!!!
