Very RUDE Grille-Tech.com..
Wow. All I can say is these people need to work on their attitudes. I've asked them at least 3 times now over the last 9 or 10 months for an ETA on the availability of their grills for the Scion tC. I've always been polite; the first time I e-mailed them, (10 months ago), I was told it would be about 2 months till the grill came out. And the last time I e-mailed them I never even got a response. This is what I got from a snotty representative the last time-

This is the 3rd time i've contacted you guys for
info on ETA availability of scion tC grilles.
you've had "coming soon" for scion tc grilles for
like 10 months now on your website. please get in touch.

Ashley:
Obviously, they are not available and we do not have a date. Since WE make decisions as to our website content AND pay for web service, I don't believe you need to delegate what we should have noted. Sorry you are this upset with us; however, if we do not have access to a vehicle locally to test from, we cannot market and sell it.
I suggest you please refrain from further hostilities towards our company about this matter or at least learn to ask questions in a more dignified manner.
Sincerely,
Kristina - Manager

I thought I should post this on here because this was the rudest, most ridiculous response I've ever gotten from a vendor. If this is the way they deal with potential customers, I'd hate to see how they treat actual customers. I believe, if you post something on your website as "coming soon", and then tell customers it will be 2-3 months before it comes out, and then a year goes by, that customers would have the right to expect the product's availability. I'm glad I got this e-mail because it made me realize I will NEVER do business with them, and I hope you all will give it some good thought before ever ordering a product from them. I also followed up an e-mail with them to the effect that if they HAD done any research, or knew their market at all, they'd realize there are a LOT of people who'd be willing to loan them their tC to test fit on. Ridiculous.

Unbelieveable! Sounds like somebody either (1) hates their job at Grill-Tech.com or (2) has raging hormones because they were having a visit from "Aunt Flow".
There's no way they should respond to a potential customer in that manner. (Unless you sent them like over 100 emails each month asking for a release.
) I remember when I saw their website when I was looking for grills. It did say "coming soon" for the tC. THAT WAS 10 MONTHS AGO!!
I'm sorry for the way you were treated. I wonder if there is a way to get a hold of somebody above this "Kristina"? It couldn't hurt. BTW-I won't be doing business with Grille-Tech.com either!
I have delt with Kristina many times for some grille business for my accord, I never had any issues with her service.....
The owner is named Bryan, he's a decent guy as well, but honestly the grille quality is not all that great to begin with, I bought some grilles to cut up into peices for a project, and that was all they were worth....
they kept sending the wrong type, then the wrong color and type, then the wrong color in the wrong style.....eventually I got what I needed, they refunded me about 50.00 in shipping costs and I was happy.......
I should ask if they have a Tc grille yet LOL

To be honest, their reply su¢ked, but your email would have evoked about the same response from a lot of people.
Your email was antagonistic, if I may be honest with you.
I often write thinking I was cool too, and later, go back and re-read only to find I was a tad snippy.
I find your email above a tad snippy
BUT...as a business, they need to pull it back and deal - that is a place I'd NOT do biz with.

Right - it is a business, plus we didn't see the previous emails that she sent. The fact remains, just like with some HID projectors, we really need some better vendor support on these parts for the tC. i'm not in love with the Grillcraft grill and i'd love to see some alternatives, but if they never make anything, it's hard to say.
Yeah, again, I've emailed them 3 times over the past 10 months. Each time my e-mails were very polite. I agree my last message to them may have been a bit "snippy", but I was irritated that the company was not replying to requests for assistance. I don't feel for any instant that my message warranted a reply like that from anyone who works there...
Sorry guys this message wasn't meant to upset anyone, I just felt that such a nasty reply by a "reputable" auto parts manufacturer (or ANY manufacturer for that matter) should be shared with others contemplating who to buy parts from.

Don't be sorry, I was just saying that in spite of the pi$$-poor response from the company, your last email would have got less than optimal replies from many people...
In the end, I don't bother with anyone or any company that drags it's heals for a long time without delivering updates or product.
I'd say to forget these guys and move on...

Just get it from www.grilleguy.com they have excellent grills and custom sheet orders if you have aftermarket kit. And yes they already have it ready for the TC for stock bumpers. Looks very nice. They also offer to powdercooat it black for you.

I checked out the stuff that grillguy has - it looks kinda eh... but the price is right - $90ish is much better than the grillcraft stuff. Anyway Smash, if you end up buying from eBay, definitely let us know what you got and what your experience was.
