For the last week, you've seen my continuous cry for help. Now, that problem is solved. I'm enjoying my 4300K lights. POOF, they're firing. Hey cliff, don't forget about that reimbursement K
So the BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG problem with my HIDs was: THE WIREHARNESS.
On the wire harness, the relay amp has 1-black wire which connects all the way to the plug that goes into the OEM headlamp socket. You'll notice 2 black-"GROUND" wires on this plug. Well, low n behold, that wire in my situation, was the broken verdict.
I found this out, today, when I did another amp-tester wire check. And that particular black wire was not giving any conductivity.
Thank GOD, the new wire harness came in today!! With the divine intervention of CLIFFORD, he heard me out, helped over the phone, listened to my cry, and laughed with me in the process of fixing this HID KIT.
I bow down to the master of HID.. thank you Sir Clifford.
I'm enjoying these 4300Ks.... and Im going to see when I'll shine my 6000Ks...
CLIFF once agian... thanks for the help AND THE HIDS!! WOOOT WOOOOT!! Yes, its real PLUG AND PLAY BABY..

Too many days on vacation
just to clarify, this is what i would have wanted for a first gen xB? "One H4 6000k HID conversion kit"
If not, which one is it?
the 6000k isnt too blue correct? Also, what relation do the numbers have with the color? For example, when the number goes up, does the blueness go up as well? Im just a bit confused about the whole thing. Also, with the 1st gen kits, do you lose your high beams? Thanks a ton

Since no one is answering...
The higher the Kelvins, or K's, the different color itll be. 4300K is a bright white, and up the scale you'll get BLUES, and eventually a Purple at 12000K.. 3000K is Yellow by the way, great for "fog lights"
On www.mobilehid.com there should be images of what K you're looking for.
I have 4300Ks installed and they're effing bright white. I wanted 5000K, because it has a hint of blue, but 4300 is good for me.
As of 6000K, it seems blue but not to the extent of it being pull me over blue. Check out the images that "import weed" posted.
Yes, H4 is the kit for our BOXs and, the ones that Cliff sells has a high beam with the HID light.
Hope that helps.. :D

bronxblaza, I pm'd ya.
stuckpig - you're welcome man.
cool screenname.
bbsacto - whatever you do, just don't try to pull over anyone.
hahaha. but if you do, you didn't get the strobes from me.
randomsuper- you should be able to run your long ballast wire under the front of the engine bay frame near the radiator. I believe there's an area there to tuck in the wire.
just1n - looking good man!
