That works well for emblems and debadging, but you don't need to go that far for some decals and dealer stickers.

 

I just had the dealership take it off of my car when I took it in my complimentary oil change.

across the windshield and their dealer sticker on the trunk lid. it was already on their lot when i went to reserve a black tc. but i walked away with the rs1

 

Just got my XB a few weeks ago. A white dealership sticker on black sand pearl paint is just plain awful. I found this article via a search. Thanks for the help, all! I will try the heat up method by hair dryer and goo gone combination and let you know the results.

 

i made sure to make a point when i bought my car that no sticker would be on it. well, they put a plate on it, now big deal. however, a week later i noticed a dealership sticker on the inside of the window just above the vin...

a dealer will remove it for you

I pulled my sticker off before i left the lot. They put the sticker between the logo and hatch handel.

 

good Lord, in AZ. the dealerships do sickers and front license plates (not req'd in AZ.), key chains and soon I'm sure they'll apply magnetic signs for your doors. it's ridiculous. I told my dealership to keep the stickers off and don't even think about the front license plate. they were cool about it. they gave me a plate frame for the back, but that came off when I got home.

 

When i order my tc i told the dealer that i wouldn't accept the car if they put a decal or a licence frame on the front or back of the car and when i picked it up there was nothing on it.
