more like over the hill and then down hill from there but really ive had the same thing happen as well, I had just finished backing out, just went from reverse to 1st and boom, and old man hit me less than a second after going from reverse to first.....

 

This has nothing to do with being an old person. Let's not go stereo typing or becoming discriminatory. This is done on a daily basis, by old/young, male/female, you get the idea.

 

Well, just by dumb luck, my car was parked here at work this morning and some young punk backed into it pulled up, looked at his car and was griping that his trunk was f'ed up now... the guy that saw it told him to stay put while he came in and got me... needless to say, he drove off. So, it is indeed something young and old both do.

 

and during all this my fixadent stopped working and my teeth fell out.

 

here's one. in high school we had 4 of us in the cab of a ram 50(read as REALLY small truck). this old lady starts to come over and our driver honks. she keeps easing over and we honk some more. at this point we are stopped and can't really move. next thing you know BLAMO! KA-POW! she sideswipes us. we get out and tell her to meet us in the parking lot to our right she agrees and proceeds to take off. we only had a partial on the plate, so we couldn't even track her down.

and here's another gem. this one was a few years ago. i'm in my truck. i pull into the parking lot at my work. and i notice this guy pulling out of a spot. well, he turns toward me, so i slow down. i notice that he's continuing on his arc and is looking behind his truck, WHILE STILL DRIVING TOWARD ME. so I stop. and lay on the horn. he's still looking backward and driving forward, AND COMING AT ME. so, i'm still on the horn, honking intermittently, to get his attention. and SKREEEEEEEEEE he hits me. the thing is, it's right in his door, so, if i left, it would look like I hit him. my truck just had streaks of paint where he slid his door against my bumper. so, i had to miss half a day of work to make sure this idiot didn't put the blame on me. oh, yeah, this guy was 56.

and then there was this time I was backing out of a spot and I stopped b/c a friend asked me a question and i had to roll down the window and answer. since i was stopped, i had right of way. this 20 year old woman hits me from behind. she was talking to her friend in her car and not paying attention to where she was going. she tried to leave, but my friend and I boxed her in till the cops got there. turned out she was an illegal and didn't have a DL.


I really don't think it's an age thing. it's just stupid and/or dishonest people. look out for them. they'll try to put one over on you every chance they get.

 

i get my car back tomarow yay! i cant wait to see it i got a 01 ford taurus and tis a pile of crap

 

Why is it that when hit by an illegal, we can't press to have them deported?
