Well, when the US welcomes them with open arms, why do you think they WOULDN’T come over? There seems to be a lot of blame put on the immigrants, and while they do share in the blame, they are merely secondary to the true problem….the many businesses that give them jobs.

Think of it this way….if you want to get rid of an ants nest, you kill the queen, not every individual worker ant. If you REALLY want to end illegal immigration, start with the companies that hire them. Vote with your dollars.

 

Well by you being tucked up in Kansas, you have no idea what its like to have to drive behind slow ___, inconsiderate imigrants, have them expect you to know spanish, and to have to worry about your ____ getting stollen because they dont want to get a decent job. Maybe you have stuff getting stollen in KS, but not nearly at the degree of the cities that are over populated with imigrants. I live in San Diego, 20 minutes from the Mexico border, and I do not see the things you are talking about. Maybe you should take some of that rage you have and direct it towards the real problem.

Well when someone has a quote that has no relevancy to this situation except to start conflict, I have to voice my opinion more. I understand what youre saying heathen and I appreciate your honesty. And maybe youre right and I should direct my rage to make it pregressive, but I honestly do experiance these sort of incidents. For example, when youre driving down Rodeo Drive, how often will you see a famous person compared to everyday shoppers? You will maybe see one or two if youre lucky. This is the same thing in Southern Arizona. You occasionally see another caucasian. Im not a rasist or anything, (My girlfried is hispanic), but I dont appreciate the negativity brought from mexico by the carriers we know as immigrants

 

Leavenworth is a part of the KC Metro paul_mnly, 27th largest in the US, we've got minoritys here, nothing like the west coast I'm sure. leavenworth is a prison town for crying out loud. in our city we've got four of the nations largest prisons in our city and multiple smaller prisons in and around the area, you can only imagine what kind of residents those bring in. not to say leavenworth is a dump, cuz it's not, we've also got fort leavenworth which is amazing, but we've got our share to deal with. maybe you miss understood my comment, i'm on your side man, i think it's lame that they flew the flag upside down, but i'm not going to let it bug me, what would that accomplish? the purpose of my post was to show that there 'freedom of speach' accomplished nothing, will flying the flag upside down do anything for them? not likely, our countries political officials will hear about stuff like this and say so what. if minorities want to be heard and taken seriously, they'll have to find more mature and educated ways to do it

oh i totally agree with you, i don't think anyone who can't even speak english fluently should be allowed to live on our soil, i'm against illegal imagrants all the way. what i am for is our country opening it's arms and helping those that need it. i do think we need to have stricter policies on who we allow in to stay. i still don't find the quot unnecessary, i think it's relevant to the topic, they are idiots for what they did.

 

Very true Heathen and I think that my coments were a little on the "enthocentric" side as well. Im just very annoyed by the fact that our businesses in the U.S. allow them to come work so that they can pay them dirt as opposed to paying diamonds. "Figure of speech" I know it is very hard to turn around and stop companies from hiring them, but I just wish people could come accross legally and than respect the fact that they are welcome.
