Wanna hear a bad review of the nifty?

IT'S PLASTIC. It's CHEAP. For $80 it's useable but If 50mm is one of your go to FL's obviously it's a waste of $80 to start out with it. Buy the 1.4 and if you don't like it, sell it for 90% of what you paid. Save more money that way.
there's always gonna be a bad review here and there...the fact is, not many people are used to shooting with primes and spending 80 bucks on a lens to see if its even feasible for them is not that much to spend...rather than spending 300+ and finding out you can't stand shooting with a prime lens

But if you wanna do that, & state information I tell ya on AIM, then 2 can play at that game. Don hooked up with a chick in my neighborhood, but he refers to her as "Canoga Park chick" cuz he didn't know her name. Pretty sleezy & scandalous if ya ask me for a "professional".

(not a guess, it's what he told me via AIM)
wanna throw fire on the flame?

i'm open about my past...i've hooked up with tons of one night stands and tons that were on going without relationship...big f'in deal...

it all depends on how you have your LCD set up on your camera and if your camera is calibrated or not...

i'd look at the chart rather than the image...that will tell you more

Not throwing fire on the flame cuz you're just making yourself look worse, lol. It's your own deal if your morals are like that. I have more respect for myself & others than to sleep with people who's names I don't even know which shows you lack (or lacked) respect for others. Glad you're proud of having one night stands & glad you had your party phase, I hope you regret it & not pull stunts like that anymore since you claimed that was in your past. I also hope you've been checked cuz the fact that you're flaunting you've had one nights stands to me makes it seem like you're a walking STD. If you didn't know their names, I'm sure you didn't know their sexual history.

/end argument.

Not even sure why you responded here when you were trying to battle it out with me & justify your actions via AIM. I'm not responding anymore, if you wanna argue some more, feel free to keep at it where you originally started (on AIM)
i was who i was then and i am who i am now...the past makes me who i am today...

regrets are for those who hate who they are now

and only a retard wouldn't wear a condom with someone they just met

^agreed.

& I swear I should become a feminist because my respect level for some of the guys in this thread just dropped because of their lack of integrity towards women.

Disgusting.

I believe that women are just as culpable as men in regards to one night stands. Just because you have a one night stand doesnt not mean you lack integrity towards women.. it happens sometimes. The whole treating women like objects is a different subject. But really.. who doesnt like a little fun every now and then, especially if you're not in or looking for a relationship. My dos centavos..

I find myself not relying on the lcd. There are too many variables that come into play, i.e. lcd back light, loss of resolution, and depending on how much light is in the environment your eyes wont see the same exposure on the lcd. using the graph helps, trying to correct white balance in an environment with yellow light by eye is futile too. you're eyes and brain adapt to the yellow lighting and you interpret yellow as white without even knowing it. I mainly use the preview to get a rough estimate. and fix in PS. in regards to wb, if I feel the need ill take a pic of a white/gray reference and adjust the levels to that. most of the time Id rather shoot as is so not to lose any potential color information.

My thinking is shoot now fix later hehehe, exposure and white balance takes a second in bridge raw editor to correct. all my raw files come out slightly underexposed compared to their jpg counterparts anyway. So Ill usually find something that needs to be tweaked.e

I'm over this arguing. Lets start a real offtopic thread about this if need be (which chances are Don will since he likes to be argumentative). Robert's going to throw a kanupchit over this.
