Thanks, I've got a lot more but I'm very restricted to what I can do without my Mac. When I get back into the states, I'll touch up the pictures, straighten them out, etc. It's hard getting a level shot while in a moving vehicle.


I ended up getting an SB-600 flash, which is soo much better than the built-in flash, a battery grip and a polarizing filter. I wasn't planning on getting the battery grip, but after feeling the camera with it on, it was a must buy...plus it lasts forever lol.

carbon: how much was ur 600? im debating between that or 50mm 1.8 lens. if my $ fits, i might get both. LOL! also how much was the grip and where did u get it at?

 

I don't remember how much, I paid like $400 for the flash, grip and filter at Photo Zone. I could have got a better price online, but I bought the stuff literally 1 hour before my I left for the airport to go to Paris. The 50mm 1.8 is def a great lens, it's a must have, plus it's only like $80.

 

I started shooting in RAW+B, so I could have some sort of photos to play with. Took this last night after work, it's the beach at the hotel I'm staying at.
