that is what i have read. i am buying it. i mean i dont mind the fact that it isnt the USM, but that isnt a big deal for me and 85 over 330 is a huge difference.

yeah man no problem. I love the lens and recommend it BIG time. U don't have to have USM and IS to take a great shot. Too many people get caught up in tech specs instead of just working with what u have and having fun with photography.

Thanks. I was trying to capture entire scenes rather than individual things. I'm going back downtown on Saturday so I'll try and spice it up a bit.

That was my original plan--to go people watching. But when I got there it was pretty much deserted since everyone was still at work. The few I saw weren't doing anything interesting lol. Hopefully this weekend will be better. I'm going out again in about an hour to a car meet so hopefully some cool ones will show up.
