There are a lot of tutorials online to learn from. PLUS just messing around and trying different stuff will do wonders for you.

 

I can do a simple tutorial. I use PS all the time.

Robert, you are my new best friend. hahaha I'm taking my comp in on Monday to get tweaked. Everytime I try to do a preference change in anything Adobe, my comp reboots. WTF?!?!? Hopefully they fix it and then you can show me how to open my phuqin' RAW files.

 

I actually don't shoot in RAW, but I could easily find out. Are you using PC or Mac for editing?

 

He's using a PC, I'm 99% sure. He's not technologically advanced enough to be able to own and operate a mac.

i have PS for my PC but i need to get it for my MAC. What i am using on my MAC is iphoto but as far as i can tell it doesn't let u resize the photo. Course i haven't had my mac's for that long anyways.

(For many folks, both PC and Mac, Photoshop Elements 6 is a viable substitute for the MUCH more expensive Photoshop or Creative Suite products. I've been a Photoshop user since it was only black and white, but these days I use Elements because it offers most everything I'd like to have, and essentially alli I really need.)

So true. I've used Elements for years before actually owning Photoshop. To me, they're very similar. It offers much of the same features for a fraction of the price.

 

I got the Teachers Edition for CS3 with the video tutorials and everything.. Just wish I could find the time to actual watch a video..
