on a side note, before anyone critiques, Im aware of the flash reflection
1. i was to lazy to paint it out.
2. I was using on camera flash and was too lazy to mount the flash on the stand.

Keep in mind photos will look different on different monitors.. unless we're all calibrated. Also when you export for web, there is color loss, saturation, luminance, etc..
What might look fine on one person's monitor might look really wack on another... in the end, anyone who is semi-serious photographer needs to have their monitor's calibrated.

I know what you mean... I tell Chris to not finance mods.. (for anything, car, camera, etc).. do it only if you got the cash and can afford the loss.
It's a good deal, but you will live. Personally, I'd spend my money on the 12-24 instead. Did you take a look at it?

What do you plan on shooting with the 14mm? I don't disagree that fast lens is always nice, but depends on the context if it's needed too.
