I've got an ipod Touch so I may have to finally get the flashlight app that I always figured was a waste and try out some ideas now.

Thanks for the idea, RnB.

not my idea, hah

got the idea from this article
http://strobist.blogspot.com/2009/01...et-or-are.html

I can see this being used for macro toy shots and close up portraiture.

the top lens is a 70 300 is usm and the second one is the 18 55 lens set to 18mm and pressed up against the mirror for the perspective distortion, aperture hole was PS'd for effect and flipped.

i wish Nikon would make an even smaller one than the D40 but still produced the same results.

seems everyone wants the biggest camera they can. i don't know why. i want the smallest camera i can. hence why i have a D40.

If i had my way, Nikon would make a DSLR even smaller than the D40 and somehow fit the focus motor in the body. i would buy that camera.

actually panasonic makes a line of "micro" interchangeable lens cameras. they eliminate the mirror reflex and it allows them to move the lens closer to the sensor. therefore a smaller camera with an interchangeable lens.

i think that this makes the camera a fancy point and shoot. i havent seen specs or pic qualities yet

i think they call it "micro four thirds" or something. and its either olympus or panasonic that makes them. i forget.

He didn't like the flash too much, plus I had to get pretty close because I was using my 18-55mm lens.

Had a nice sunset on the right back to my hotel last night. I just stuck the camera out the window and snapped this one.
