The restaurant had some nice architecture though. I was messing around with the paint daub filter and got this result. I like the way it came out; seems to add to the artistic feel of the building.

 

first time showing her this and she thought it was amazing. kids lol. she's not quite 2 yet so stuff like this is a huge deal for her.

 

jon, where was the copelands you went to?

 

Holy cow, Copelands has the BETS chicken Parmesan ever! We have one here in Jax, never crowded but ALWAYS has good food.

XTi...stock 18-55. I shot with my friends Sigma 24-70 for a little bit & I don't care what anyone says. Thats my next lens, without a doubt.

Not much, cropped it, messed with curves, levels & sharpened. That's it.

I was going to make a reference about the backdrop too earlier but decided to keep quiet about it

anyhow, before you plunge into the sigma lens, you should also try the canon L version too. And make an judement of which one is better.

I hear that the sigmas tend to have yellow tint on their lenses that must be corrected via PP.

 

Air Runner's valves are weird. If the tank isn't running and/or full, & you go to raise the car, it drops it instead, or something. I have a short somewhere & my battery is jacked right now, & sometimes my air will kick on & sometimes it won't. I didn't wanna drop the car & risk not being able to fill the tank again. So I didn't drop it just to be safe. I'll do another shoot soon though & figure out where the short is, so once it's taken care of, I'll be dropped more.

 

Might be shooting AVP and an air show this weekend if the weather is good.
