DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
kept the 30D i see. with the 85 1.8 attached?
ok, canon guys. i have a problem. my lens lineup right now is 11-16 2.8, 50 1.8, 70-200 4. I think i need something between 16 and 50. Cash is tight right now, so I am thinking about the 18-55IS (kit lens) i remember when i had one it was a great lens. i think now that i know more about photography, i can produce great images out it. what do you all think?

Has anyone participated in the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk before? I did last year. It's scheduled for next month if anyone is interested.

noooo!!! i went last year... it was fun, but tiring. LOL!! damn, I'm working on this day! craptastic!! are you going jon on your area? im gonna wing it, if i cant make it to work, im gonna call in. LOL!!!
Yeah I plan on going this year depending on what areas they have available near me. The ones they have at the moment aren't too interesting besides Athens.
Yeah, I reaaaally want to get rid of my 18-55mm IS for the 17-55 f2.8IS, but I don't have the $1k to drop on it. The quality is just heads and shoulders above the 18-55mm, and the constant f2.8 would be awesome to have.
very true. the 17-55 is probably the best choice, but like i said, i don't need to spend that much on a lens. i can find the 18-55IS for 80-100 local which is perfect for me.
You can easily get it in the $800 price range.
sigh...my mom drove a rabbit that looked exactly like that, minus the flush BBS's. She sold it when I was 8 or sometime around then. I didn't think much of it at the time, but looking at pictures now, it looked pretty damn cool.
