You have no idea. I'm trying to get rid of the 50 actually. I dont even keep it in my bag anymore. 35 Is fast, and super quiet with AF. I cant even hear it (i am a little hard of hearing though). And just sharper all together IMO.
the 35 is better for most situations but i still find myself using the 50 for the more portrait type stuff. plus the 1.4 is that much more help in low light. if i had to pick one or the other though, probably would be the 35 just because i use a DX body and the 50 range is such a sweetspot.
