Advice: Buy a Canon.
Turn on AE lock. That way the exposure isnt constantly changing. And use aperture priority so you can adjust how dark or bright it is by turning the dial and changing the lens aperture.

Premiere is great. I'm not knowledgeable enough to use it to it's full potential. Combined with After Effects it can be pretty amazing. I just don't need all of that power yet. So it's great if you're going to buy it because it will always be valuable and significant, IMO.
With that being said, I wish I went with something a little easier to use like Sony Vegas. I feel like I could get more done in less time. But, I got the hookup on the entire CS5 suite so I am not complaining.

I have a friend who is a master fish tank builder. He doesn't literally build the tanks (though he could) but I mean he builds the ecosystem for the fish to live in. If I was ever to have a large 150+ gallon setup, he'd be the guy I call to get it going and make it look farking beautiful. Because he is so ****-retentive about keeping his tanks clean, they are a pleasure to shoot in.
Here's a puffer he has in a 100+ gallon tank.

If any Nikon users are interested in buying a brand new Vivitar 383 hot shoe flash, for dirt cheap, let me know! I've had this sitting around and never used it. I bought it to replace my old Vivitar flash that I broke. It's a cheap alternative to the SB-600. I enjoyed it while I had it. It also works great as a slave with a trigger. That's how I mostly used it.
