u dont need to have a huge aperture to get bokeh from lights most kit lens can just zoom as much as it can and shoot f3.5 aslong as the subject and the lights r far apart there will be some bokeh

In the meantime.. I was messing around with my camera just after I unpacked it and shot this. I thought it was cool. But maybe its not. Whatever.

 

Idea behind the photo is great, but I would have had the subject face the camera, light up his face only and do a Assassins Creed style photo

theres a Nikon 10.5 for sale in my local CL. only asking $480, i just can't do it with the holidays but its my next lens for sure.

 

thats what i want. i paid alil more for my sigma, idk if i can part with my 10-20 i wanna have them both

 

^why? I'm all for zooms and primes but in a wide or fisheye I'm not really seeing the point of a "zoom".

the "zoom" in the 10-20 is irrelevant lol i never zoom in i leave it wide all the time

 

thats how i feel i would use it also. so why have both? lol.

 

The image from a regular UWA at 10mm is quite different from the image from a 10.5mm (or any other) fisheye.
