V12 Flathead... Nothing out of the normal there. lol.

Stealthy 3 Window Coupe

Everything on this Tudor was top notch work. From the frame gussets, to the sticking on the top, and the 4 low back mini bomber seats in the interior.

And this is the mess you had to walk through, navigate, and try and block traffic of people to get a decent shot.
Must say though, this trip was WELL worth the 1 hour drive to get there. The $5 16oz High Lifes were a little hard on the wallet (after about 3 I had to stop) but I will return next year with out a doubt. And maybe if something in my life would go right for once, I can have something to park in this show!
Cool shots, you guys.
Strangely enough, the hazy stuff that I saw in my first copy of the 70-200 f4 is present in my second copy. I played with one a few weeks ago at a local camera store and didnt notice it, but I only messed around with it for a few minutes. Going back tomorrow to see if their copy is like this as well. If it's clear, I'll return this one to amazon again and suck it up and pay sales tax on the local copy.
As I said before, it doesnt appear to reduce photo quality. Just a little distracting.

It's not part of the lens coating is it? Maybe it can buff/polish out?

Friend of mines 45th anniversary Mustang v8. It's dumped on D2 coilovers, and I think the rear wheels are 17x9 maybe 10 with some super stretched tires.

And shot this one of a slammed Audi playing with the 3D tracking system on the d3100. Not my most crisp rolling shot, but considering I was just experimenting with settings, I like it.

Nope. Nothing visible on either the front or rear elements. I'm thinking they screwed up on a batch of one of the internal elements and I got two lenses from the same batch. Wish it weren't so.
This whole page makes me jealous. I want cool cars to shoot..

picked up another strobe this week. however trying to go back to basics and shoot with just one strobe to improve my understanding of lighting.
shot with one sb800 bounced of ceiling and using bounce card.

not my best shot but i liked it enough to share.

I can't justify buying a strobe. Does make for a clean shot, though.
Oh. And false alarm on the 70-200. Took it to the shop today and got my problem diagnosed. Apparently there's just a little layer of something on my focus screen that's not visible through my other lenses. I'm postulating that it has something to do with the higher translucence of the 70-200's nanocrystal coated glass.
Just wanted to clear the air so as to not deter anyone from getting the lens. I do love it so far.

learning to play with strobes is magical its like picking up a dslr for the first time again. other cheaper lighting solutions if u want to play with lighting but once u start there is no going back. this is my third one.
