Dear everyone,

Welcome to the club, if Erik didn't have so much invested in the grey car I'm fairly sure we would have driven both of them off of a freaking cliff. We have been in this scene for YEARS (Dustin Kekai where are you guys at on this?) I could not be more turned off from the scene than I have been lately.. heck not just lately maybe the last year ish. This scene has taken off down hill at an alarming rate and I wish it could just get back to how it was.


oh well, I'm happy I'm in Vancouver now and will happily be working weekends and am really not upset at all about missing events.

 

Its moments like these that make me very glad to be a part of the biker community lately that looks after everyone and takes care of people. Doesnt look gift horses in the mouth, doesnt disrespect just because they dont like something and generally dont behave like children.

look around noobs. 9 times out of 10 i would show you nothing but love but ask yourself, this, Where is Dave Foth? where are Kekai, Allie, Erik, Dustin, Jason, Macster, Sheep, etc etc etc.... the guys and gals that have been here since FREAKIN 2004 before the cars were available in this state, the guys and gals that have been here since the TC wasnt in the line up.

Gone. some just moved on but some of us just dont like the drama. I'm giulty of being a part of it but when i woke up and smelled the coffee, its so much more fun to just relax, enjoy being a car guy and hang out with people I care about.

Dammmmmm, maybe robbieJ and I should just go back to being Lancer owners in TWO THUOSAND THREE and being friends who just loved our cars.

 

We still love our cars, and I'm going to continue with it, heck, got way too much swag to try to get rid of if I left, lol.

Well, mostly something with AWD, 4-doors, and a bit more power, 200+ (Turbo preferred), so yeah. I've got a bit of money and my tC was paid off day one, so I hope to be in something new by the end of summer, I've even applied for a part time job...

 

I dont know what drama yal people are talking about but mayeb thats a good thing.

 

I so wanna live in Brocks world......except for the part where everyone comes up behind him and takes pictures.........lol.......

There has been a lot of drama the last year Brock.......probably much of it could have been avoided........

this year is a new year and I think many of us have found where we fit in around the community and with whom.......

Me for instance I like just about everyone,well probably everyone......some of us get it and some jsut don't.......that is ok......that is what happens in life.

If it wasn't for the OG guys and gals around here I would have no one to look to for when I need ideas and help.......they are the lucky ones who were here to start it up and see it flourish......it now still flourishes.......what a great thing to get to see and be part of.......

I miss Foth too.......he must be working too much as he has not been on Yaris World in a while either.

Well I here the drama with the car team thing. But regardless i think there are some real great people up here. Honsetly thinking about it. I can recall some of the things that have caused some drama. I honestly am glad I dotn have a club affiliatian. I can do what i want and just hang out regardless of if the team is lax and cool. But I am just happy to have met some of yal regardless of the drama. I am supposed to transfer to FL this summer but being i havent received orders yet I wouldnt doubt them extending me here another year with the economy.

Anyways keep up the hard work on everyones rides. Cant wait to see it. Oh and just remember the Scene will always have drama no matter what. Its the good people and real enthusiasts that dotn let it get them down. They just keep on chuggin along.

quitting don........do it......do it.........quit.....quit.........I am so close myself........I have cut back to way under a pack a day and have my lozenges and am very close to making my run at quitting again........I miss not smoking......I am such a slave to it it sucks.

 

yea been 6 days now without a cigg..nicotine withdraws are gone. now i am dealing with the habit of every free second that i am not in a car or my house not reaching for my shirt pocket and grabbing the pack.been seeing a hypnotist for about 3 weeks now.one session left.no wonder she had me doing pattern interupt for the first two weeks..lol
i have quit a few things in my life and this is the hardset by far!!! and ty for the positive support peeps!!!

Thank you for NOT contacting me to tell my my issues with my liver are worse than anticipated, I really enjoyed having to repeatedly call your office for my results, send you emails and never get a response as to what was going on and finally I did get you on the phone only to find out it's not good and I have to get on a NEW set of treatment...yay I really needed that thank you so much for your care and concern and I will be finding myself a new Dr that actually finds it important to contact patients when something is not right!...I think it sucks even worse because you have been my dr since I was 10!! thanks so much!!

And I have more to elaborate on but I am not in the mental state between finding out my bad news and all the crappy cold medicines I am on my head is clouded so to be continued.................

 

Jenn it only took about 30 yrs for them to find out about my liver and do something so I know where your comming from. If you are talking about the peg interferon treatments and want to know how mine went or need support call me Cindy has my number. GL

 

The thing that really sets me off was back in oct,nov and Dec is when I was doing all the tests and such and they told me it would be a couple of weeks until I got my results and now 6 weeks later they finally after I harassed them decide to tell me...I could have already started my treatment, I haven't really talked to anyone about this and I refuse to tell my parents because they are in mexico and I don't want to ruin their trip worrying about me...but I just needed to get it out of me I might just call you thank you

 

Yeah well I understand. When I was up in Everett the Drs told me I have maybe 5 yrs if I didn't get a transplant that was over 7 yrs ago. Now all my numbers are so good they can't even put me on the list for a transplant. I know how this can scare the heck out of you but find a good specialist and hang in there the treatments are not fun but you will be ok. Yes and call me anytime it helps to have someone who has gone through it to talk to.
