So being married and a father of two, I've come to realize that 4drs would be kinda nice. I have reached a point where my tC just isn't practical for the "family man" type and curious what my chances might be for a straight across trade for an xB 1st gen?
Ideally, I'm wanting one with value and features similar to my tC:
mechanically sound
good to great condition (7-8 on a scale of 1-10)
Lowered
Window tint
70k'ish miles
AT or MT
Good to excellent condition tires
CAI
Exhaust system
I'd also like to swap out the sound system. I'm attached to most of the components as they are rather recent gifts.
And the xB can't be white, Just not fond of the color.
Lastly, only looking for PDX and SW Washington area.

I know this is kind of a pipe dream, but thought I'd check w/my Scionlife.com family to get your thoughts.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy my tC and I am not 100% on the the whole idea. Everything would have to work out perfectly.
Thanks in advance for not "flaming"

I just traded 1st gen xB in at Dick Hannah VW in vancouver. It had 78984 miles. It was a BOP, 17" wheels(not chrome either), and lowered on Tein S-Tech springs. The car was totally solid. Never a problem. Babied the car since the day I bought it new off the show room floor. If you have any other questions pm me.

Unless someone knows otherwise, I don't think dealerships would be up for a straight across swap.
Thanks for the offer to drive up and the dealership suggestions.
My goal is $0 out of pocket. Of course, the exception being title fees and junk.
I'm not in any hurry though.

Bringing this thread back from the dead...Sorry
Does anyone recognize this Box and or know if it belongs to anyone in our "Circle of Trust"?

I'm still on the search for someone wanting to trade their xB for my tC... but, like I said before, I'd like it to be a reasonable exchange.

I don't buy the light hit story. If it is a rebuilt it was substantial enough to total the car/ theft recovery...stay away.
