yeah but I was doing calcs on a full tank, and no try with prices at 1.75 and 3.09

 

yikes, for just 5 gallons it's almost a $7 difference

 

Ok guys, I think this is THE proposal right here (the quoted comment above, , lol)...........I going to start doing a rough draft right now, in the school's library and hopefully get it done before my next class. When completed, I'll decide if I'll send those who have posted on this thread a copy. Then u can send me suggestions on what is needed, improvements, etc.

 

Ok So Cal, I finished the rough, and I MEAN, really rough draft of the proposal. It seems like its done in 15 minutes, which it was, but just get me some feed back..........well, u have to ask for a copy of it to do so, .

scion would lose hundreds of thousands if not millions.

this will never happen.

lets just say there are 150,000 scions in the country (which is a HUGE low ball)

and they take 1 dollar off all gas prices.

Now lets say everyone fills up 10 gallons this day (i know everyone will use their gas to get this cheaper )

thats 1.5 million dollars right there scion has to pay for gas.

Now lets talk about advertising...

Radio and television advertising around the NATION for about a week, letters, news updates, and the countless other advertising cots and fees would be WELL over 50 million dollars. But we will stick with 50 million because its easy to calculate

Now there out 51.5 million dollars, and for what?

They can spend money elsewhere and smarter to gain the publics interest...

Its a hopeful idea, but it will never happen.

 

Well, the rest of the country will not get this............cuz Scion will try So Cal first cuz this is where everything starts, right So Cal.

But yeah, at least we gave it a shot. Maybe reduce it 20-30 cents..........besides, at this point, doing something like this will steal the sales from rival companies, .
