Your friends at Scion might not be able to buy you cheap gas, but we'll give you and your friends a free ride from top to bottom at Snow Summit next Friday, March 30th!

There's plenty of snow and we've got plenty in store for you at the base lodge. Music, entertainment, and plenty of Scion parking....did I mention NEW giveaways for your Scion wardrobe? Hell yeah!

Use your sick days wisely....get your bones and your boards up to Snow Summit next Friday...we'll see you there!

Simple: Roll in. 2 lift tix per Scion. Done. Conditions are GREAT! I just got back and it was wide open and plenny fine all day!

^^^^what do you call decent? Man made snow is real snow, and all the park features are still up. All you really need in So. CA anyways. Good event, but better notice would be helpful. Lucky I had asked for a week off work for vacation starting that day!

I bought an extra New Big Powderhound (for skis and snowboard) from Yakima if anyone needs one and is interested. Its still in the box, Not even opened!!

 

Does anybody reply with anything positive anymore?

People wanted an event...and the good lords of weather wouldn't accomodate it. . .Mt. High would've been more like Muddy High. They're closed. We had 3/30 in mind for an event more than a month ago...but cancelled 2wks ago due to the sweet Equator-like winter we've had...

Then Big Bear/Snow Summit called. It's costing more...lots more...to pull off an event because it SEEMED like there were some peeps who wanted us to carry on. . . The old addage "use your sick days wisely" comes into play here. . . If you need a teachers or doctor's note, we'll write one! Don't be offended by the remarks...we're only try to please the masses. Sorry if it's not enough time for all y'all. But the snow is still REALLY good...(hell yeahs I was skepty...had to test it maself today.)

As for the conditions....43 today. I rode for 3.5 hours until 230....when it started SNOWING. Flurries only, but the runs are definitely still carvable, most still open. all but one smaller lift was closed. And there's more weather in the forecast next week!

Come ride for free. . . have a drink and maybe a snack on Scion for the troubles.

PLUS....the roads were wide open and definitely tuner car-friendly this morning!!! But no speeding, of course. . .

Hope to see those who can make it...up there.

4" of fresh snow are in the forecast for tomorrow!! If you're like me, there wasn't much to get excited about to ride/ski this winter...so why not give it at least one run before you hang the boots up for the summer?! Worst case, you get some great mountain driving in! We're hoping to see a few of you there-

BIGGEST SINGLE SNOWFALL OF THE SEASON!!
It's currently snowing in Big Bear and this storm is delivering much more intense snowfall than originally forecasted! Seven to eight inches has already fallen, and it's still snowing heavily. It looks like this will be the biggest single snowfall of the season!

The Scion Gods of Snow have answered! The Scion Gods of Insane Music are on the other line and calling!!! HUH?! Ever hear Kevin and Bean talk about former Vice Presidents? If you do, and you're familiar with their "Dick Cheney" skit...the band SANCHEZ plays a D.Cheney theme song for their piece. Well I am here to tell you that along with some resident Scion DJ's, we will also have a very special live appearance and set by Sanchez. . . .I kid you not, they F'n ROCK!

Hell yeah! Been waiting for this! Its been awhile since I snowboarded..Haha andd its my birthday on that day ohh yeaa!! andd I got my car tinted... all ready! Its gonna be a great bday. Oh my car is sitting on some s-techs. Will I be able to roll up there. Do you guys think we need chains?

Wow, this is cool... But 2 per Scion? That's a little low if you ask me. It should be 4 per like at Scion Night.
