Went to a dealer last week, and asked when the 2011 will be in the showroom - he said ~ Feb.2011. Anybody have similar info?

Hate car salesmen (actually salespeople of any type) hope you're right.

 

The average salesperson is at the bottom rung of the company ladder. They rank just slightly above the cleaning staff. Most people don't understand that they're are not going to be aware of ANY information that is not yet public, and that of the public information out there, they will misunderstand a great deal of it. A sales manager is just the top dog and leader of the pack. . . nothing to brag about.

Unless the information comes from some sort of Regional V.P. or higher, expect it to be completely unreliable. Even if the rumor had some sort of truth, the "telephone" game will have diluted any truth to wild fantasy.

But then there are always going to be idiots thinking the New Supra will be out this year (same as every year), the NSX will make a return, Acura will get a V8, Scion will get a RWD sports car with 200+HP for 12,000, and that shifting to neutral will cause a car to flip over and explode during unintended acceleration.

 

^^^^^ died laughing at that last bit. i like the 5 axis kit on he tc. Looks like the kit from NFS shift. Pretttttttyyy dope.

:? with that center console, shift gear and those designs on the seats, I certainly will not be waiting in line... such a pity because I am cool with that exterior and the new engine/safety upgrades are excellent. The way I see it, either the "new" interior is redesigned or I save for an FT-86 or just buy a lower-end trim Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

I like it to be honest. I wanted to sell my xD but now I might wait to see it in person, then I'll make a decision. Plust 180 HP is not bad at all

 

read a review where they drove the manual and didn't think that the new one performed that much better then the gen 1.

Expecting the whole world to agree with you is rather closed minded. And to label them
as hatred proves my point. I rather enjoy it if someone makes a good argument and gives reasoning behind their opinion. IE, good points have been made about the upgrades to the drivetrain.
