Very good job on the color pallet given.
from the carscoop auto blog site
here is their take on the hako
The term déjà vu is French and it literally means, “Already seen”. As with most auto shows, we got that overwhelming sense of familiarity with some of the vehicles that made their debut at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center too.

The more I think about it, and look at it, I see what Scion was trying to do, but this concept is still a big dissapointment in my mind.
And as for the photoshops.... As others have said, it's a one trick pony. Rat rod style is your only option.
ALSO, the biggest, boldest statement Scion made with this concept was overly sharp 90 degree angled windshield (probably in response to people not liking the "rounded" xb2) but that's the first thing people "fix" when they photoshop it! :?
I mean, if Scion made a 3-wheel concept car, and everyone immediately started photoshopping it with 4 wheels, it would remove the "concept" of the design. So basically, anyone who says "it would look good with a slanted windshield", is in essence saying, "Scion needs to go back to the drawing board."
Catch my drift? I'll end my rambling now.

No, Don, you are making sense.
(But remember too, the object of a "concept car" is to GET those responses to CORRECT the direction of the design. Right now, the feedback is strong and for the most part useful to the process. It's an iteration process - step by step to a final release product.)
