Hey guys,

I have a 2005 tC and I already have aftermarket headlights with HIDS however, I want the 2008 OEM tC headlight. Will the 2008 headlight fit on my 2005 model? If so, will it be simple enough to just install and plug everything in? I was told I might need to do some splicing and I'm not too savvy with all that. I was also told I might need to get H11 bulbs? I figured I would get some information about this before making my purchasing and finding out that it doesn't even work.

My new 08's fit perfectly fine on my 07. I assume its the same case with you. If you want to take a more unique route though, why dont you retrofit your 05's?

^^x2...the headlights themselves fit perfectly fine...you need to get H11 hids for the 08+ or if you dont, then you will need to do some splicing

 

You should be fine with 08'+ projector headlights on your 05'.

You have HID ballasts already, just buy some H11 HID bulbs for the low beam and 9005 can be used from your 05' in the high beam.
