Default tC Front License Plate Mount

I don't want to drill my front bumper and the required Maryland License Plate doesn't fit within the lower grill opening. Help me find a COOL way to display this (unwanted) item. THANKS!! Hobie in Maryland (duh)

yea MD sucks, i'm probably gonna get some of those plugs off bumperplugs.com and ziptie the plate to the lower grill. theyre kind of expensive but they look nicer than two holes there

There have been a lot of posts where people have made their own plugs for the holes--try a search.

Plus the aluminum cross-bar is drilled and tapped to eliminate additional hardware that could interfere with mounting the plate flush.

BTW: The Eight08customs installation instructions note that you have to remove the plastic shield under the bumper on a tC (apparently there isn't one on an xA or xB). Actually, if you have skinny enough arms, you can pop the hood and reach down from the top, on the passenger side of the hood release (the release latch sticks into the wide part of the opening on the driver side), and tighten the inside nuts "blind." It worked for me (only a few scrapes 'cause my arms aren't quite skinney enough) and I didn't have to muck around with taking parts off of my car.
